Precious Moments

It's moments like these that I just have to take off my teacher face and just laugh.  Because its so classic.

Scene: Reviewing for the state test, solid and plane shapes.

Me: What's a face?

Kid 1: The flat sides of a shape.

Me: Very good, that's right, it's the flat sides of a shape.

Kid 2: Mrs. Tatum, the Promethean board has a face.

Me: That's right, its flat and has a face also.

Kid 3: ...And we all have faces too.

Me: Very good. (giggling)

 You've got to love second graders!
