Today I had one of my students ask me this question during library time.
Student (S): Who was the first mom?
Me (M): (Thinking of Eve) I'm not exactly sure, I can't remember back that far.
S: How did she have babies?
M: Excuse me??!?
S: The first mom on earth, how did she have babies? And how did she get here?
M: Um... that might be a better question for your...
S: I think God made her.
M: Oh, ok. Can you hand me that book?
